Yoga Session, 6-7AM, Friday, May 22nd
Mia Garcia-Hills is a Chicago-area yoga instructor, who has been teaching yoga for more than ten years. Her yoga environments have included high schools, colleges, youth centers, fitness facilities, and hospitals. Mia’s practice is a movement celebration of our opportunity to live with an open heart that is deeply rooted in positivity, liberation, gratitude, compassion and contentment.
The Yoga styles used in this class format are a combination of Vinyasa Yoga (when breath and flowing movements are in sync) and Iyengar Yoga (in which proper alignment and pose endurance are key to the practice). All levels are welcome to participate; students will need a mat, a bottle of water & comfortable clothes.
